 | Feeding on the lush vegetation and abundance of berries, native to the area in late summer and fall, the black bears frequently reach sizes of 6 feet and larger.
Spring bear is located in a bait zone with all of the hunting done from tree stands. Our success rate in this area normally runs as high as 100% and is usually accomplished in the first few days of the hunt. The bear hunt is complimented with fishing (Northern Pike and Walleye) dependent on season dates and weather conditions. Fall bear hunts are conducted on agricultural lands adjacent to the forested area. The bears frequently feed on the many crops, preparing themselves for hibernation. |

Spring bear hunts start the first or second week of May and go on for 3 weeks. Fall bear hunts go from mid September to mid October. |  |

Hunters arrive at the camp on Sunday.
All hunts begin Monday morning and end at noon Saturday.
